Favorite Tea Company #teatogethertuesday

Hello Everyone! It’s the second week of tea together Tuesday. Today’s question is what’s my favorite tea company and what was the first tea I drank from them? How am I supposed to answer that?!

First, i really think I’m at the beginning of trying new teas from different companies, so my favorite company now may change later on.

Second, I can’t write this blog without giving a shout out to some of my other favorites. The Republic of Tea, Harney and Sons, and Revolution Tea.

For now, I’m going to have to say my favorite tea company is Fortnum and Mason. When we were in the airport about to fly home from my first visit to England in 2017, I decided I needed to bring home tea. I took a little too long making a decision, but finally chose the beautiful Royal Blend tea tin from Fortnum and Mason. They have many black tea blends. So why are they my favorite? The Royal Blend may have been the freshest black tea I had first tasted (after growing up on Lipton). I was surprised how smooth and delicious it was. Since then I’ve tried Fortnum and Mason’s Jubilee, Strawberry, and other teas, which are all equally delicious.

Ask me this in a few years after I’ve tried more and I may not be able to narrow it down 😉
