It’s that time of year again! When I spend a day and night with my bestie so we have a nice Ladies Vacation; AKA Mommy’s Day Out. What better way to get this weekend started than with a chip tasting?!

Along interstate 81, you can find a small factory dedicated to making kettle potato chips. On the days they are making the chips, you can watch employees at work. Unfortunately, we did not go on one of these days, but you are still able to see the equipment through the windows.

My friend told me you go to the counter and ask to try their different flavors of potato chips. Here I am thinking they are going to hand me one chip for each flavor. Instead, they give a small bag for each flavor you want to taste. I could not believe the tasting was free and felt bad for us trying 4 bags that I offered to pay and didn’t ask to try other flavors. Well, ya’ll. They were so good that I dropped some money by getting a prepackaged variety of chip flavors and also a bag full of the Dill Pickle flavor. It was so delicious! My friend’s favorite is the Barbeque.

If you ever want to try some amazing kettle potato chips without committing to buying them first, I highly recommend a stop to Route 11 Potato Chips.
