Take #2- Old Hill Cidery: Timberville,VA

Last year, I wrote about going to Old Hill Cidery with my husband on our Hobbit Hole getaway. Surprise! I went this year with my bestie and continued to be amazed!

We stayed at the cidery for two hours. The 5 cider tasting turned into a glass of cider in a wonderful laid-back atmosphere. My favorite ciders continue to be Off the Press and Wassail, so I bought some to take with me and share with the hubby. Shortly before this trip, I learned from my dad that I must always bring him some ground sausage bought at Old Hill Cidery and is called Showalter’s Orchard sausage. Check! That’s taken care of Dad!

We asked if we could switch one of our five tastings with the blackberry cider slushy. It was not a problem, and we were delighted that she gave us a full cup because it really was delicious.

The view is always beautiful of the rolling hills and apple orchards. As mentioned last year, Old Hill Cidery is the perfect stop if you want delicious cider to enjoy with a lovely ambience.

P.S. Their dogs are so friendly and enjoy getting your attention.
