On my ladies weekend in Staunton, Virginia we went to a few local stores. There was one store in a side street that had some witty merchandise, but then I found a section called “Sow the Magic Bath Tea”.

Bath what? Yes! Bath tea! Of course that peaked my interest, so I bought one to see what it’s all about.

In a large reusable bag is lavender, rosemary, wild violet, Himalayan salt, wild oats, and angustifolia oil. The ingredients aim to help you find tranquility, soothe dry skin, reduce swelling and puffiness to skin, and moisturize.

To activate this calming bath tea blend, take it out of the package, place it under running water, and steep it in the bath as long as possible. Will not lie. I got so relaxed at one point I thought a mouse jumped in the bath and climbed on my leg. I took out the bath tea bag after that.

I did feel the tranquility and smooth skin after the bath. But my 3 year old smelled me afterward and definitely did not like the scent. Apparently, herbs are just for cooking in his mind. Regardless, it was a lovely new tea find to use on special occasions.
