Nestled in Nanjemoy, MD is Purse State Park. Yes you can find it on your GPS. No there’s not a sign to indicate you have arrived or a trail sign to lead you in the right direction. Kind of a word of mouth thing.
Purse State Park has a half mile round trip hike to the Potomac River with a skinny beach. The cool thing about it is if you come early in the day (before other people) you can usually find some old sharks’ teeth.
All of us found some and we really enjoyed our morning of exploring.
Today’s Republic of Tea is “Get Clean”. This is a herbal tea suggested for detoxifying your liver and kidneys, and help “get things flowing.” These aren’t my words but the company’s.
This has a very earthy smell with an almond and vanilla flavor that tastes pretty good. I will say i only had one sip because the individual packing did a poor job of listing its ingredients. It does not mention almonds in its ingredients, just “natural flavors” but the description says “flavors of vanilla and almond”. Be aware of this if you have nut allergies.
