Only one week until Christmas! Time to start baking! I hope you’re ready!
What would fall be like without some fairs?!
We went to our county fair on opening night and were rewarded with easy access to rides. There’s so many new ones our son tried because he was taller. A continuous favorite was the ferris wheel.
A new favorite ride is called the Tilt a Whirl.
We also attended the Renaissance Festival, where I enjoy trying different foods, especially cheddar broccoli soup in a bread bowl. Unfortunately, a yellow jacket wanted to try it too, so I threw part of my food down when it landed on my hand.
Besides playing on the playground, seeing jousting is our favorite activity at the Ren. Fest.
When I purchased the Republic of Tea sampler for this year’s Countdown to Christmas, they gave me a couple of samples of their new teas. The flavor “Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King” was one of them.
Another rooibos herbal tea, this time with natural flavors that I can’t pinpoint, cinnamon and citrus peel. Pretty tasty for something caffeine free.
It’s hump day Wednesday! And a week from today is Christmas! Wahoo!
