Aloha! We begin our Kauai journey on our flight over with one layover and many giggles.

Upon arrival, we met up with my family and took a detour from the airport to see a beautiful spot less than 5 minutes away.

Well enough about settling in; let’s get to the fun part!

The morning after we arrived, I adventured out with my sister to go Waterfall Repelling with Da Life Outdoors!

To begin, we were taught how to repel on dry land. Which means my rock climbing repelling skills were put to the test after a rusty 13 year break!

I completed two Waterfall repels. The first was 30 feet tall and the second was 60 feet with a 4 foot drop without footing. Such a thrilling experience!

It was so amazing that you can even see me doing the shaka wave behind the waterfall.

Mahalo to my sister for joining me! This was definitely a moment I will cherish!

Today, I am enjoying Hawaiian Islands Tea Company’s Tea called Tropical Medley. This black tea has natural flavoring, which makes the tea have a rich and fruity taste.

Have a fantastic December 2nd, and I hope you can plan an unforgettable experience like I had.

sounds wonderful.

Did you know that Kauai actually has native tea plants growing on it? Unfortunately they aren’t being maintained at this moment

I believe it! Hopefully they maintain and sell tea at some point. I’d love to try it!

It used to be maintained by the lady who ran Cloudwater Teas but it became too much for her. She made a wok fried green that was amazing.
