Aloha, friends and family! We’re 18 days before Christmas!

For today, we’re exploring Waimea Canyon in Kauai. It was beautiful to overlook the canyon we had seen from our helicopter tour and fun to watch the goats that were spotted roaming around.

There were 3 overlooks open when we were there, and one looks over the Napali Coast. I will say, to get to the Napali Coast view, you drive for quite a while. More than once, we wondered if we had gone past it. But we made it!

My son enjoyed the view in the photo above most because we saw at least 3 helicopters fly through. I was instructed to get pictures of them…which I didn’t share here because they are dots in the photo.

After Waimea Canyon we visited Kekaha Beach.

The views from the beach were lovely. However, this beach has year-round signs, basically saying swim at your own risk because the rip currents are strong. The wind was strong, too! The kiddo enjoyed some playing with his Gamma, and then we headed to our next adventure.

When I was in Kauai, I may have grabbed all the flavors I could find of Hawaiian Islands Tea Company. My husband may have said “really?” But! I’m having fun trying them all and today’s delicious flavor is Mango Maui. This is my favorite so far. It is a black tea with a mango flavor. Simple, straightforward, and fruity. Yuummm.

Have a great Sunday, and let’s fly into this week!
