It’s humpday, Wednesday, and who doesn’t love a bit of Disney spirit?

Since I was last in Kauai, Hanapape has painted a few murals of Stitch in the Town. In case you’ve never seen the original Lilo and Stitch movie, the town is based in Hanapape.

We loved walking through the sweet town, seeing the artwork, visiting the local shops, and buying presents for ourselves and others. This is where I bought the rare honey mentioned in a previous post, and there’s a pottery shop that I’m fond of as well. There’s also a few food places to enjoy and a foot bridge that my family enjoyed walking on.

The last beach we were at was a return to Lydgate Beach. The water was a little rougher than the first time, but we still enjoyed it!

After last-minute shopping stops, we said our goodbyes to my family and headed home.

The kiddo was particularly in love with his new stuffed animals during the flight home.

Bought in Hanapape is Hobbs Tea Company’s Hawaii Grown Spicy Chai. The tea plants for this black tea are grown on the rainforest slopes of Hawaii’s active Kilauea Volcano. Full of beautiful spicy flavors, this black tea has cinnamon, cardamom, ginger root, black pepper, and cloves.

Mahalo Kauai! You gave us a wonderful family vacation, and we hope to see you soon!
