Happy Monday! Only 3 more days until Christmas!

We took another trip to the beach with my in-laws and had a lovely time.

Since it was a tad colder than we’re used to, we spent time enjoying each other’s company in the condo, flying a kite and feeding seagulls.

However, my son decided to do a bit of pouncing practice (huge Lion King fan). So we had entertainment with the seagulls for a while.

Him and I braved the cool water before the waves became too rough.

He’s a lucky kid because he has wonderful grandparents. Our son enjoyed the playground 3 days in a row since they took him!

Speaking of awesome, my in-laws “performed” The Floss for us as we were driving away. Our son is seriously blessed to have such cool grandparents.

I am trying another Maryland grown tea from Heron’s Meadow Farms’ BLTeas. I’m going to let them explain the Nevermore black tea, “We picked leaves twice in August just a week apart and we processed both harvests into our black tea. After processing, we did our normal taste test and realized that the first batch we picked had a very different flavor from our traditional Black Raven. Process was the same, rolling was the same, drying was the same. But, the taste was distinctly different. The only difference we could identify was the environment at the time of picking. The first harvest of August was the day after we had received the flood rains. The leaves adsorbed all of the excess moisture and created a sweeter version of Black Raven. It’s a batch of black tea that we can probably never repeat, so we’re selling it as a Limited Edition. Therefore, introducing “Nevermore” our limited edition Black Raven.” I’ve tried both teas and agree. Nevermore is such a unique flavor and is a tad sweeter than Black Raven. Well done!

Santa update: He was seen vacationing in Ocean City, so he will be rested enough to deliver presents in a few days!
