Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

For 14 years my husband and I have talked about going to see dueling pianos. We finally signed up to go to a family fun one at Bobby McKey’s at the National Harbor. We had to push it back twice but finally, we made it.

Included with the family friendly option is a food buffet specifically geared towards kids. There was pizza, chicken nuggets, fries, Mac and cheese, salad, fruits, brownies and a few pre-poured drinks (water, fruit punch, sodas).

Anyone was allowed to request songs, which the pianists chose from but didn’t get to them all. There were great options and a few spooky ones for the Halloween season. My son was absolutely tickled when they played one of his requests; Pink Pony Club.

The pianists were extremely talented, entertaining and great at getting the audience involved. I’m so glad we finally went because we all loved it. I wouldn’t be surprised if we manage to visit again.

For our last Maryland grown tea from BLTeas I am trying Terrapin Green tea.

This is a very distinct and unique earthy green tea flavor. I decided to add a dab of honey to tone down the bitterness. I enjoyed trying teas grown in Maryland, but this was my least favorite out of the Black Raven, Nevermore and Terrapin teas. Still fun! And I loved the taste bud adventure.

Have a wonderful festive day and consider knocking something off your list that you’ve wanted to do for years.
