Happy 3rd Saturday away from Christmas! I hope you have fun, relaxing plans with family or friends today 🙂

Today’s tea was given to me by a friend who is an awesome party planner. She actually gave me about five different teas to try, which all look and smell delicious! I am enjoying a loose leaf Papaya and Strawberry Japanese Sencha Green Tea, in a Victoriana Rose tea cup that I found for a dollar while at a yard sale. This fruity tea tastes good on its own but even better with a pinch of sugar.
I did have to research what Japanese Sencha green tea is and how it is different from regular green tea. Basically it is the same, but the process to create the tea differs by infusing the whole tea leaf in hot water in order to have the leaf as part of the beverage (unlike matcha, which becomes a powdery tea that dissolves in hot water).

Anywho, back on topic. The person who gave this tea to me is an awesome party planner with extreme attention to detail. Making for a beautiful appearance and lovely atmosphere at any party she hosts. So have a happy Saturday and enjoy any Christmas parties you may be attending today.
