Happy Valentine’s Day 2021

Happy Valentine’s day everyone! I threw a Afternoon Tea Party for my in laws because I miss going to tea rooms. I also had a lot of fun decorating and prepping it.

On the menu were sandwiches, salad, snickerdoodles, oatmeal raisin and date nut pinwheel cookies. Along with orange scones, raspberry chocolate chip scones and a peach creme pie (all cookie and scone recipes are on my countdown to Christmas 2020 blogs).

A friend suggested I make a smoothie shot too. I had never heard of them and it was a great choice! I made a papaya, peach, raspberry, banana, vanilla ice cream and Napoleon Mandarin liqueur smoothie shot. We drank it so fast I didn’t get a photo 😂

With all the excitement of prepping, my husband reminded me that it’s a tea party… he asked where the tea was. Whoops! After that we had a lovely time. I hope your Valentine’s is just as wonderful.
