12 Days Till Christmas 2024

Being the thoughtful Mommy that I am, I understood there would not be too many things on the ship to Alaska for my child to do. So, I bought an unlimited arcade package that paid for itself five times over. He had a blast!

I would also do the world a disservice if I didn’t mention the mouth-watering mini donuts we had in Seattle and Alaska. It was like a fluffy funnel cake with powder on top. My son even used his own money to treat us all.

My sons favorite part of Alaska was the Lumberjacks in Ketchikan. He got to meet them, got their autographs, and won the small seat they carved. We didn’t take it back on the ship, but he enjoyed sitting on it for ten minutes.

We got some great family photos on the ship. The classic one has to be eating ice cream in front of a glacier.

And the best family photo was taken in front of a screen before dinner.

Back in Seattle, we spent a happy time at the Children’s Museum. There’s so many hands-on things to do there that we all played with different kids’ activities.

We also went on the top of the Space Needle to see the city from above. I think I’ll say my son was hesitant once he was up there. Other than being on a plane, that’s the highest he’s been.

Finally, our hotel room had a great view out the windows.  I couldn’t talk about everything on this trip, but it was one worth remembering.

Today’s Republic of Tea flavor became an easy favorite of mine year’s ago.

Ginger Peach black tea smells amazing and has a beautiful peach with some ginger flavor. A good year-round tea with a caffeine pick me up.

Have a great Friday and 12 days until Christmas!
