Drying Pomegranates: Part 2

Well Everyone, I failed.

Remember how I said the biggest thing you need for drying pomegranates is patience?  I couldn’t wait any longer for my room temperature pomegranate seeds to dry.  Six days had been enough time for me to see that winter may not be the best time to dry pomegranate seeds inside my house.  Perhaps in the summer/fall when there are warmer temperatures and more sunlight?  There were only a few seeds that seemed like they we’re having any hint of drying.  So I gave in and threw them in the oven to do the drying process I had completed in my previous post.

Part of the reason I did not wait any longer is because I am having a tea party tomorrow!! (And did not want them sitting out during the party)  I am really excited to have family over to enjoy tea and a relaxing time together.  I’ll let you know how the tea party goes on my next post.  Until then, have a wonderful weekend 🙂
