I love tea parties!!
On Saturday I invited family and friends over for a tea party. I had at least 20 teas to choose from and a different tea cup/saucer and mugs for guests to enjoy. I think choosing those two things are the most fun about a tea party. The tea cups you get to choose your favorite out of the options, which can lead to a more enjoyable experience. Having multiple tea options allows you to explore new flavors and potentially allow you to find a new favorite. Many guests enjoyed flavors they never heard of before and wanted to know where they could buy the brand.
Another great thing about tea parties is the food.
It’s possible that I overdid it with the food. There were croissants, cakes, cookies, veggies, chips, pastries, (failed) scones, ham and rolls, spinach artichoke dip, and more.
My mommy hates surprises and doesn’t like being the center of attention, but we “mentioned” her birthday anyway. You have to do something for your Mom’s birthday when the second number is 0!
But the hands down best part of a tea party is spending time with the people you love and taking the time to sit and talk. We’re so busy running around in today’s society and it’s lovely just to sit, chat and enjoy a spot of tea.
