Happy 20 days until Christmas! I know we are all probably shopping around like crazy, trying to check off the list of gifts for family and friends, but let’s take a moment to step back and remember what Christmas is about. Christmas is the time of year where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who came to die for our sins. He has done a lot of wonderful things in my life, and I hope you stop and pray for him to be there in yours as well. I love the Jim Shore ornament in this picture that shows Santa praying over baby Jesus. For Christmas, celebrating Jesus’s birth should come before the stress of getting presents for everyone on your list.
Now to tea! This Twining’s English Breakfast tea is the favorite of a man in West Virginia whose Christmas wish is to adopt a wonderful girl and little boy. He already has a great family who loves farm life. All my love to the Miller family ❤
English Breakfast tea is a plain black tea, that somehow England has mastered. It tastes good on it’s own and even better with some milk. It also has a good kick of caffeine and can quickly jump start your day.
This Mikasa tea cup was made in Thailand and is my husbands. Yep! He has his own tea cup! He picked it from a group of awesome tea cup favors from my bridal shower about 5 years ago.
Here’s to kicking back and remembering what Christmas is really all about. Cheers!
