15 more days until Christmas! We’re nearly there! I was going to call this Kah-lac-fee in attempts to be clever since I mixed Kahlua, a black tea and coffee together… But my husband told me to be a better person and find a new name 🤷♀️

Regardless, this came out great! (And I’m not huge on coffee). In fact, I immediately shared this with multiple people, I liked it so much.
In my tea strainer I mixed 1/8 teaspoon medium roast coffee, 1/4 teaspoon Harney and Sons’ Scottish Morn black tea (any breakfast black tea will work), and chocolate. I tried the chocolate 2 different ways: 1/4 teaspoon powdered (used for hot chocolate) and cut up chocolate chips. The powder was easier to infuse. The chocolate chips required boiling water, but still didn’t completely melt after 3-5 minutes. Either way, both options taste good.

After the tea mixture steeped, I poured it into my teacup (which holds about 8 oz) and added 0.5 oz of Kahlua. Perfectly mixed tea and coffee drink to start your day.
