Drying Orange Peels

Today’s topic!! Drying orange peels. The fun thing about this fruit is that you get to enjoy eating the orange while prepping it’s peels to be dried. After you separate the peel off of the orange, commence chomping down on your delicious fruit 🙂 To prep the orange peel make sure the membrane is separated from the orange peel and clean the peel with water. Cut the peel into smaller pieces, like below.

Dry the orange peel in the oven on 200 degrees. It only took my batch 3-4 hours to dry. It came out nice and crisp like below.

I think this will make some really nice teas. I can’t wait to test it out!!
